Q: This is my first time experiencing Yoga. What do I wear to a Private Yoga Session?
A: Comfort is Key! Athletic attire is reccomended, and typically no socks are worn during class for safety. The Vinyasa Edge Studio encourages you to dress to your comfort level.

Q: What can I expect during my first private session?
A: Before we begin our Asana practice we will discuss your yoga goals, and your past experiences. We will discuss any current or previous injuries and approach them in a healthy manner.

Q: Why are physical and verbal adjustments important? What if I prefer neither?
A: Physical adjustments in a private session allows time for the body to sink into symmetry going at your own pace. No rushing. No judging. Both types of adjustments can be helpful as they trigger your basic yoga fundamentals. However, if a silent flow is what you need, I am here for you! : )

Q: How long are the private classes?
A: The minimum class time is 1:15 minutes. Class times can go up to two - three hours.

Q: I do not have a yoga mat, Do I have to buy one?
A: Just bring yourself to class. I have water, and yoga mats for free. : )

Q: What is Yoga?
A: The word Yoga has several explanatory definitions but I like to sometimes simply describe Yoga as a way to bring balance to our body, mind, and breath.
